We have used slate

24 x 12 weathered grey green slate roofing material with Clipped corners these are not full square Rectangles
This slate originally comes from Vermont as a dull green color and as it has aged turns a range of green, grey, brown, yellow-green, pink, and some colors in between.

This phenomenal stone is a lifetime building material, which commonly lasts over two hundred years. Our company specializes in reclaiming and redistributing this for eco friendly projects, Custom home addition projects, and repairs of current roofs.
Why should you choose our slate? This material is far superior to any shingle or composite material available for roofing. It is tremendously aesthetic. You will commonly see slate roofs on colleges, older historic homes, palaces, country clubs, etc.

This material is good for more than just roofing. Artists commonly paint on slate. Slate flooring is more popular than ever. It could make a rock garden, or Edge your flowerbed. Make coasters. I have even seen whole interior walls covered with slate.

You have the ability to purchase this special lot for pennies on the dollar of what new slate would cost.
